Nokia’s response to Blackberry’s push e-mail, the Nokia Messaging has been updated to v9.6.12. The update which brings HTML support to the symbian fifth edition devices (5800, N97, 5530, 5230 and X6) along with other improvements can be accessed by pointing your mobile browsers to email.nokia.com.

HTML support on Nokia Messaging for symbian third edition devices has been available for a while now and the recent update brings certain additions to the HTML support, and users can now view embedded content in emails like graphics, flash, etc. Screenshots after the break.

For the uninitiated, Nokia Messaging is Nokia’s email service, which can pull in contents from as many as 10 email accounts on to your Nokia devices. The latest addition of HTML support makes it one of the best mobile email solutions available across several mobile platforms today.
